It's been a really long time since the last site update but in some way I felt like I needed this long pause ;-). I had other things to do and because time was already tight, steinsoft.net had a rather low priority. Anyway I thought the time has come to get the site running again and so I will start with a little sweat Linux/Unix application.
I have added tcpserver to the projects section. It's a little console application that has been coded mainly for learning purposes. The program simply reads data from a network port and redirects it to either stdout or a file. That's not impressive but it might be good for people planning to build some server application. It might be a starting point for them.
To keep the update _spree_ running I am currently planning and actually writing some new code snippets. I have some interesting ideas and I think those might be interesting for my visitors too. Then I have a good article idea so I can finally start with adding content to that section I created soo long ago. And then I also want to get that damn OpenGL application online I planned to add many weeks ago but I never really felt like getting it done.
And then, and then and then ... Unfortunately my TODO seems constantly increasing instead of decreasing but at least I will never get bored... Aïe. Happy Coding anyway!
